Comments on Differences between B9 vs B8

I noticed that the B9 has a smaller gas tank than the B8. Has this had an serious effect on having to fill up more often or does the improved efficiency of the B9 resolve the problem. Also has anyone disliked the fact that there are no front fog lights with the B9?

Fogs must be something they are going to offer, this is right off the Audi website

Those are the radar sensors for the adaptive cruise control.

There are switches in the B9 for both front and rear fog lights. I believe the front fogs are built into the headlight cluster (a la original B5).

They aren't dubbed fog lights anymore but there are inclement weather lights and rear fogs, and they are all LED (4 LEDS below the beam), fronts are also used for cornering and this is the first car where you can actually tell what the function is; they are very bright and make a huge difference.

I hate that, I really like the independent ones that are built into the bumpers.

I also noted some discrepancies from the official AUDI press release on the A4 B9. In which it was stated that, "A good example is aerodynamics: The A4 Sedan has the best drag coefficient in its class at 0.23." However in the AUDI USA site it has the drag coefficient as 0.27 the same as the A4 B8.

I really do not understand why they reduced the size of the gas tank as compared to the B8. The A4 B9 is a bit larger than the A4 B8 but the new model has a smaller gas tank. This is not good design.

That's not a discrepancy. The 0.23 is for the A4 Ultra (not sold in the US). The Ultra model has additional tweaks for higher fuel efficiency. They are just touting the best numbers, but the non Ultra models have a higher drag coefficient.

Those are still really low drag coefficients. Lexus is touting its newest F model as having a .33 CD. Audi has masterful engineering when it comes to putting efficiencies into eye catching design.
