    Removing stock spoiler?

    is the oem s3 spoiler only held on by tape? should i just use dental floss to slowly loosen the tape and remove it? i purchased a carbon fiber one to replace the oem one

    Yes, it's held by double sided tape only.

    Floss doesn't work. Get a couple feet of 15-20lb test fishing line. Once you start a flossing movement, it will warm the line and break it down... That's why I suggest starting with a couple feet.

    Also, make sure the spoiler/tape is warm... Let it sit in the sun, or use a hair dryer.

    Takes about 10-15minutes

    Floss worked for me. The floss ripped a couple of times but saved me a trip to the store to buy some stronger line.
