Help me figure out this noise

Yesterday morning: I get ready to drive the car, back out of my drive way and when I put it in drive, and start accelerating (windows up, stereo off), I noticed what sounded like an electrical winding noise, coming from the driver side of the car. More noticeable during 1st gear and during acceleration. This noise intensified as the RPMs increased, up until the point of being deadening by the exhaust tone.
It must be me, but it felt like as the car warmed up, the noise was less noticeable. Seems like a pump of some sort, or the turbo spooling up, but I am not used to any turbos sounding like that.
I did recently installed a Neuspeed discharge pipe with muffler delete, and do have an Injen Intake in place.

Does anyone have any experience on this?

    Regards

Sure it isn't the first gear transmission whine?

    Yeah, this sounds electrical.
Almost as if you had a power wire near the speaker and it was picking up noise. As you increase the rpms, the noise gets louder, not extremely noticeable though, I had my windows up and stereo off, and it was really early in the morning, quiet. So I was wondering if there was a pump or something. It does seem to not be as loud, or be gone once the car is fully warm. I assume the transmission whine would be more mechanical and gear whining noise, rather than electrical.

Check your ground wire to your battery if it's electrical sounds, but that would be heard through the speakers. I'd first think it's transmission... our maybe because of your bolt ons your hearing what was already there, just not muffled from the stock pieces?
