I do own an B5 S4 Avant (stage 3) but I also own this and it was fun driving it around today. Not many were made just like the Avants. Total IS300 SportCross Wagons made were 3078 in 4 years of production.

I always liked those but same thing here in the UK - not very common. Not sure on production numbers but the sales numbers were not very high. Pretty sure they only came out in the final years of that shapes production so wasn't on sale for that long.

Thanks guys. It has the 2jz w/VVTI. Same/similar to the supra motor but they don't come with VVTI and that is from factory. You can turbo these and they Handle that well. Typically it would require a standalone when doing that and replacing the transmission with the Japanese version of the gs300 automatic which is the aresto and that could be able to handle up to 800 hp with modification. Total investment would be around 3000-4000 if you know what you're looking for and catch deals.

I just had every damn gasket, fluid, maintenance item replaced under the hood and under the car because the plan was to keep it for a long time however tx2k event messed that up and now I may sell it to possibly get a Supra.

i really wanted to get one of these when shopping for a wagon, but couldn't find anything that didn't have a ton of miles. she's a beaut.

^^^ thank you. Mine does have 218K but maintained well and now since I just did every little thing possible I know it will go another 200k without issue minus doing the timing again at 80-100k and basic stuff. Will miss it if it does sell.
