How to track your ship

Hello-

Decided on an S6 a few weeks ago. My dealer found one already built that was close to my spec, either on the ship or about to be placed on the ship. They did dealer trade so the car is headed our way. He told me ETA to port of Houston is 5/5/16. I asked if there is a way he can track the ship, or get updates on it's ETA, he said no.

Do you guys have any insight?

Followed these instructions, but I am having a little trouble.. I used the drop down menu to pick US Gulf under "trade Line" then "volkswagon" for the carrier. If I did things correctly, according to the schedule I found the next ship to arrive in Houston is the "Oregon Highway" on 5-23, well after the quoted ETA of 5-5-16.

Honestly a few weeks wouldn't normally mater but I need coordinate with work schedule for travel to get car, protective paint film application etc etc.

I did this with my S7. I found it most reliable to get a date range of ships like you did, but wait/ask your sales rep for the exact date/ship when it is loaded (audi also sent me an email the car was done and heading to the Emdem port, It was loaded a few days after that email). Then you can use a cool service like https://www.fleetmon.com/ to verify and track it. Bonus, Mine went through the Panama Canal. I set an alert to txt me when the ship entered that port, and then I used a web cam to watch the ship go through the locks in the canal... nerd.

I asked a second time and magically my dealer got the name of the ship. Hoegh Bangkok, It's leaving JAX now and appears to be a little ahead of schedule!
