So, I'm sure there's quite a few of you that have been wondering about the differences between the 2 systems, and I've come with a quick review for you after driving with both setups.
I came from the APR RSC Exhaust, and then I deleted the Resonators in the Downpipes and rode with that for about 6mths. It was an amazing setup for those of you that were following my thread below.

I was completely content with this setup but I was offered an amazing deal on a new AWE setup with Non-Resonated DP, I had to take up the offer just to test things for myself.
This review is with the AWE Non-Resonated Downpipes as the common denominator, and the only part that changed were the rear sections which deemed to be a Track vs Touring setup. I am APR fully tuned with boltons with a stock DL501 DSG setup. I have not yet gone with the APR DSG tune but will at some point down the line.
With that said, I initially ordered the Track setup with my Non-Res DP's, and impressions were amazing! I got exactly what I asked for, deep, throaty, increase in volume, and aggressive. I also got what I was afraid of, which was alot of induced drone. I was well aware of this going in, but this was my opportunity to see for myself how much in person and because not very many people have tried this aggressive of a setup. The usual is either Res DP/Track, or Stock DP/Track, or Non-Res DP/Track/6-spd. After 3 weeks of running the Track setup, the system finally broke in and was alot better than day 1 in the range of 2000k-3000k of driving. Around town and in Manual Mode, was a breeze and the best sounding exhaust I've heard to date. Cruising on the highway in top gear at about 70mph was barely comfortable with the drone.
So keeping all that in mind before I move to the Touring review, if I had a 6-spd manual or was in all time manual mode with the DSG, drove primarily in the city, and if my girlfriend didn't ban my car completely until I changed out the exhaust I would have kept this setup. Or if I had Resonated or Stock DP's.
AWE Non-Resonated Downpipes with the Touring Rear Section:
OMG, night and day difference in terms of drone, even with the downpipes. There's an ever so slight amount, but nothing compared to having no resonators at all in the entire system except for the Center Resonator. This is completely girlfriend approved. I still get the same amount of grunt, deep tone I was looking for, and also the volume I wanted when I'm on it. I just no longer have headaches when driving anywhere at any speed or RPM.
I'm confident that if things were reversed and I had Resonated or Stock Downpipes with the Track setup I would get the same results if not very similar as heard in some online videos.
Let me add, that when I asked AWE for just the Touring rear section that they did not want to sell that section alone to me, I had to beg and plead with them. So they run a tight ship for sure, and the only way I got it was because I had just bought the entire setup a couple weeks before, and I was not returning the rears, but just buying the Touring rear so I spent a little more to be the test mule. With that said, my Track rear section is up for sale, and the link is below. You've read the reviews above, and I've tried to paint the best picture I can. Ask me any questions if you'd like and I'll answer them to the best of my subjective, unbiased opinion.
Here's is some eye candy for you, and some sound clips, cause everyone likes those......This section is the only thing different between the Track and the Touring exhaust. All else is the same.
