    Injector Dropping into Manifold?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Has anyone has any issues with their injectors being pushed down into the manifold and coming out of the fuel rail? Its happened twice and its quite dangerous as it sprays fuel everywhere throughout the engine bay.

    Running 1000cc ID Injectors
    Intank Walbro FP
    Stock Fuel Rail
    Stock ORings
    Stock AEB Manifold

I am going to replace the injector seats in the manifold. Meanwhile I used some small wrap wire to hold the injectors to the fuel rail as I cant have this happening and blowing fuel everywhere. Just thought I would see if this is anything anyone else has had problems with. The injectors arnt being pushed down too hard into the manifold but are secure enough to not get boost leaks.

    Thanks
    Matt

What rail are you using? Can't use the stock retaining clips?
