    Anyone with APR TCU Tune

Hey guys just wanted to see with anyone that has the apr TCU tune(on a b8.5 gen) and wondering mainly of it ever shifts early in lunch control mode or the hybrid launch method. I currently have EPL TCU tune and really like it except I went to the track last weekend and it consistently shifted at around 6500, but when on the street it I ever just stomp on it, it goes all the way to 7100. And secondly, I'm sure everyone is aware of the delay in launch control between releasing the brake and the clutch engaging, apr says they minimize that but I would really like to get first hand experience to if it is a more instant launch once you release the pedal. Any info would be great. Thanks guys

I had the APR tcu tune before switching to Epls tcu tune and I hoping Tony will be able to get the few kinks out but the APR tcu tunes launch control pulled way harder to the point where it would give me a head rush. I haven't experienced that with Epl it is much jerkier

Does it shift consistently at 7200 during launch control and how is the response once you release the brake pedal, is it immediate or is there still some delay?

Do you have any issues running a APR TCU with another ECU tune? I always though that you needed to run the 2 together (or at least the performance was better when they were the same vendor)?

Im not the only one running EPL and APR combo. No issues other than an over rev code, but Tony corrected that for me.

I have the APR TCU tune, and I am wondering why it only shifts at 7200rpm in sport mode, but not in manual mode. I do have auto upshift on and I have the APR stage 2 ECU tune.

I will have to try and confirm this.

I went back to the shop and had them fix my tune. Apparently my Auto upshift was enabled in manual mode so it shifted at stock rpms. It now lets me shift at 7200 in manual mode.
