    Possible dmf failure?

I was driving to Savannah yesterday (about 45 minute drive) and at the end of the trip my car started making this vibration. The clutch pedal vibrates terribly when I shift in every gear (although the higher gears aren't as bad). The engine vibrates as well. If I'm sitting in neutral and push the gas the whole car shakes. It still drives fine the clutch engages and it accelerates normally minus the shaking. Any ideas?

Check your mounts, especially the passenger side engine mount. The flywheel is likely coming apart though.

The side engine mounts will be leaking the purple fluid, the snub mount will likely be cracking really bad or gone, and the transmission mount will have cracks in the rubber if they are bad.

    What year is your car?

It's a 2004. I got underneath it on my lunch break and checked out all the mounts and everything looked okay. There's little wholes that you can see the flywheel though ( I think that's what I'm seeing atleast) and looking At it while the car is running with the naked eye it appears to wobble a little bit. Is it okay to drive this way for a little while? It's my only vehicle, I'm active duty and going through a divorce so I neeeed it to run lol

No, if it coming apart you should Not drive it, if you do it could get very expensive!

This. A few bellhousings have been broken before because of a seperating flywheel.

It actually stopped doing it on its own and I am baffled as to why. Can anyone shed some light as to how this is possible?
