RS4 (K04 frame) turbo on BEL

I have APB based RS4 sized (housing) turbo to go on BEL engine (realized too late the mismatch).
Can they be made to fit?
Currently having a hard time to see how.

I HAVE installed (big pita, some grinding) K03 APB on BEL car a couple of years ago.

Just need DPs from an APB then it should bolt right up.

Yes, the manifolds themselves are the same between APB and BEL. The only difference are the [stock] turbo flanges and downpipes.

So grab a set of aftermarket APB downpipes and you'll be golden.

Can even bolt up the TURBO (not even close), interfernece with block everywhere. It seems the compressor size increase is creating the interference.
Forget about downpipe not fitting.

Reclocked the compressor (was a bit off). Also: I had removed engine/tranny as complete unit with subframe, resting on cart i had built, supported at front subframe cross member and rear of tranny. That let to engine sitting on subframe, reducing the clearance beyond the normal conditions.
Should be able to get install now.
