Can start stop be enabled on s7?

I enabled efficiency mode with vag com for s7. Can start stop be enabled for that mode somehow? I know we do t have the button, but is there a way to enable it for that mode? Thanks

Yes but s7 doesn't seem to have that button at least mine doesn't

Start-Stop should be enabled by default. The button is to temporarily disable the start-stop feature. (I believe someone has found the VCDS coding to permanently disable it, though Im not sure why you'd want to do that)

Its enabled using the footbrake.

A light press on the footbrake when stationary will apply the electronic brakes (so you can take your foot off the gas without the car creeping forward)

A harder press when stationary will engage the start-stop feature, assuming the car meets all the criteria for it to be enabled (Air temperature, AC mode, drive mode, and engine temperature) Ive found mine very temperamental most of the time, sometimes it engages, sometimes it doesn't and I have no idea why. If start-stop is unavailable, you get the symbol in the dash (A in a circle, with a strike out across it)

I have NEVER seen this enabled or working in my car. I've seen it working on my loaner cars, but not mine. Maybe it's b/c I'm in TX and the AC runs all the time or I am in dynamic mode all the time?

I'll try the foot brake hard press next time and see what it does.

My '13 A6 had it, my '14 S6 does not. I don't think they have it in the US. The C7.5 might, though.

2013 S6/7 doesn't have Auto Start/Stop feature and if I remember correctly, RS7 doesn't have that feature in any MY's.

On looking into this further, is appears that the RS7 does not have the start-stop feature, and its optional on some A/S/6/7 models.

If you don't have the button on the dash, then you don't have the option fitted

2016 S7 has start/stop. But never comes on in S. Dynamic + D yes, Dynamic + S, no.

Had it on my 2013 A6. Glad I don't have it on my 2013 S6. Whatever incremental mpg savings benefits were realized did not outweigh the somewhat annoying randomness of the engine shutting off when I least expected it, or the slight delay in getting off the line after lifting off the brake.

I have it .... and I don't want it. Getting it disabled as soon as possible. Seems like more wear tear on the starter.

RS7 has ZF 8 Speed but doesn't come with the feature but I suppose it doesn't matter since people wouldn't buy RS7 to begin with if they care so much about fuel economy.
