There is nothing to argue. I just proved two things I was saying from the beginning...

1. The car is sensitive to gasoline. I just followed my procedure to switch to full racegas.

2. People should argue something that has not been properly tested...

If I had mid40s temps and not mid 50s and a better launch, the car would probably do better...

Ohh and a 10 lbs driver, not a 280lbs one! Lol

You need to get your facts straight. I never claimed or even suggested that the Roc-Euro intake loses power. I only said that the AWE CF intake loses power, not the Roc-Euro. What I said about the Roc-Euro intake is that it does not provide any appreciable power gains. Going two hundreths of a second quicker and 0.5 MPH faster is hardly appreciable. Our cars see that level of deviation just from run to run on the same day at the same track with no changes whatsoever. Hardly quantifiable gains.

You should also mention that your runs today are with the benefit of a 7-10 MPH tail wind. That can easily be worth 0.5 to 1 MPH. Google it if you don't believe me.

Getting back to the intake, the only way to have any somewhat reliable data would be to do A-B, A-B runs with the intake vs stock and then average all the runs together. Comparing runs on different days makes the data less reliable. It's not unusual to see differences of 1-2 tenths or 1-2 MPH from one dragstrip outing to the next. Now look at the gains the OP is touting: 0.5 MPH and 2 hundreths of a second. The standard deviation from one run to the next is greater than that. The end result is what I've been saying the whole time... No appreciable gains to justify the $500 price tag. There's nothing wrong with the stock cold air intake. It works well.

Not the entire forum revolves around you. At some point you will understand that. People who have pm'ed about my experiences however cam see measurable results and not standard deviations... that's that.

Stage 1. No changes. I flushed the gas following my procedure and I was running straight racegas. No other changes other than taking the jack off too along with my spare tire. It probably worth another 4 lbs. Hahaha.

Honestly, I heard both sides of story whether the after market intake makes more power but it definitely makes louder sound. If anyone is happy to pay for that, it's his call and not someone's business to tell him that he shouldn't pay for it.
