First time audi owner. Daily driver/ build a4 avant

Figured id introduce myself since ill be doing a lot of research on here. Bought an 02 avant 5 speed the other day as a daily commuter, i drive 120 miles a day just for work. The car has 150k miles on it, previous owner just did the timing belt, ign coils, water pump kit, timing chain and tensioner as well as a fresh oil change. Previous owner said the owner before hom had got an apr tune. It has the sport suspension as well as the sport weels(i believe) but im not aure if its from the factory.

Plans:
-maybe a fmic
-exhaust
-possibly a ko4 turbo
-coilovers

Any suggestions on brands vs quality and websites to order from would be appreciated. i will post some pictures once i figure out how to do so from my iphone lol

Yea thats what i was told by the previous owner. And i believe thosevare the sport wheels? Not sure its a factory usp or not? How can you tell

I generally go with whichever place is cheaper. 034motorsports has a lot of performance parts. pelicanparts can in many cases tell you who the OEM manufacturer is of a certain part, which can often save you a bunch of money. RockAuto for stuff that doesn't have to be new OEM.

Thanks for the sites, i generally use rockauto for anything oem replacement. But figured since i might build the car a bit and get somethig else as a daily might aswell upgrade. Already found a ko4 turbo setup forsale by me

n/p. You might want to research the Frankenturbo before you pull the trigger on that K04 setup.

Those were the sport wheels for the 2003-2004. Yours is not an USP (Ultrasport) Those were available 2004 & 2005 only, had front spoiler, rear valance, door blades, slightly lower suspension and perforated leather on steering wheel and shifter. Exterior looks like:

It's never too early to start making a plan. Just make sure you know what you want to do before ordering parts so you don't waste money buying parts twice. BTDT. I have a couple build ideas in a spreadsheet. PM me if you want to check it out for ideas. They are for the base sedan but a lot if it is the same.

Well i have a crap ton of more research to and i really need to learn the car and everything before i really arart planning. Its currently gonna be my daily driver til i pick up another car to daily lol ive just been getting ahead of myself since i have the funds readily available
