    LED around B&O speakers

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Those of you that have the LED rings around your B&O speakers, do all four of them light up? I realize that only my driver side door lights up and I find that odd. Either it's an odd design or I somehow got 3 faulty LED.

Only the fronts light up for me. Both sides.

I'll take a look tonight, I know for sure both driver and passenger fronts light up on mine.
Have you played with the light settings? I vaguely remember there being some kind of different light setting for 'front only' and 'all'.

I just thought it was a reflective strip that was illuminated by the footwell LEDs. Huh.

    It's definately fronts only.

I've looked into a retrofit on the rear, all the clipping points are there on the door casing for the LED unit but you cannot buy the light guide (fibre optic tube) separately from Audi.

Only the fronts for me. It is really strange since the rears look like they have the same light strip around it.

Do you know what are the part numbers for the led strips for front? Wonder if it would be possible to do some DIY for the rear doors.
Has any one tried to change the polarity on the b&o leds? I read on some forum that if you do it on the rings in the mug holder they turn red instead of white. :)

There's no separate part number for the light guide in the front doors from what I can tell must come with the door pad ;o(
