Hi, Reading up on how to do this and I noticed that the manual says that none of the pistons should be at TDC. However, to take off the timing belt to do this, doesn't everything have to be set at TDC?

Don't really understand your question, but when you put everything back together you want to make sure the crank is at tdc and the cams are properly timed.
