Anyone know this S4 Avant?- Costa Mesa

Looking for a stablemate for the RS...

Anyone know this car? I'm interested and live in CO. It hasn't had the timing chain service, but has great records and seems pretty clean.

Let me know. If someone is willing to check it out, I'd buy them a nice dinner. Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm going back and forth on the trans too. Getting pretty tough to find a nice s4 avant though.

Trying to decide if it's worth it if the price is right.

i'd hold out for a 6 speed if your already going back and forth already with the tip…. 6 speeds are out there and worth the wait! Nothing better than a v8 wagon with a third pedal, and this is coming from a guy with a rs4 in the garage .I STILL miss my 6 speed avant even with it's replacement rs4!

There's also about 5,000 reasons to go with the tip. Plus budgeting to have the engine pulled at some point if it hasn't been done already.

That being said if it was a 6 speed it would be a done deal even without the chain service. Just don't know if I can wait. I have to drive a lot for work and I hate driving the RS around everyday. It's pretty perfect and low mileage so I'd rather have every mile count. :)

Haha...now you have me wanting to hold out.

Got the RS, sold the B6 A4 Avant (tip), sold the E91 (6sp), happy with the RS but still missing the roomy of wagon. Recommendation: hold out for the 6sp Avant

Thanks. Considering the Ice Silver one as well as the Nogaro one with 103k that ended earlier today without hitting the reserve. I actually bid on the Nogaro, but was a little tentative because of a few questions that I didn't get a response to earlier and it seems like prices are kind of all over the place right now.

I agree the Noggy you listed is way overpriced. I'd pick up another daily RS4 at that level.

Damn that Noggy Avant is nuts. Pricewise I agree, it probably should be somewhere right under $20k. At least that's how much I'd pay for one that's low miles and in an immaculate condition, if Nogaro was my preferred color. If I'm not mistaken, it belongs to a forum member here.
