4.2L V8 Factory ABT Supercharger Kits / BHF Complete New Motors

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Not sure if anyone around here is interested, but a couple of rare items I thought I'd mention. We came across a few ABT supercharger kits in Europe, these as everyone knows are impossible to find. If any of you are interested please give us a call at 503 669 2277. They are complete with manifold, injectors and all installation hardware. According to my vendor most of his customers have installed them and not needed a remap, however superchips does carry a file for them. I'm sure other tuners have files too.

We also have a couple factory new BHF 4.2 complete engines still.

    Cheers!

Both are listed on our site. We had 22 or so of the BHF's in stock, down to 8. Give me a call at 503 669 2277 if you wish; there is not a lot of room on either product, though I do have a forum only cost in mind for the superchargers.

    Thanks!

On the BHF or the Supercharger?

BHF stock is 340 hp @ 7000 RPM and 302 tq at 3500 RPM.

Supercharger kit I was told adds about 120 hp and 70 tq...now if someone upped the boost...

    Cheers!

Kit looks amazing in terms of factory like appearance. Performance though seems lacking for the price.

About ten years ago when this hit market, asking price was iirc roughly 12k through different vendors. A little under 11k today for this kit is a bit much imho You guys would need to come in aggressively and price it probably a tad bit lower than JHM sc offering, in order to move these units. Otherwise I could hardly see anyone going this route. Just a thought

Thanks guys - those HP/Tq numbers that I was given are without tuning, tuned I am sure they can put out significantly more.

New BHF's are $9950 plus freight. They are not long blocks, they are complete motors with everything on them. We have 10 left and they have been steadily selling at 2 a month for the last 6 months. All manuals have been sold, though the automatic versions will work on a manual.

I do not know where JHM has their kits made, and I am sure they have a super nice kit. ABT is factory authorized, and as such all parts will have factory fit, finish and quality. As a parts supplier I can get OEM and aftermarket parts, though I almost always pay a little more for OEM. The quality is often better too.

In any case, as I said earlier contact me if interested on the Supercharger kits. While there is no wiggle room from my posted pricing on the complete engines there is a little on the chargers which I'm not advertising anywhere else and only offering to forum members.

    Appreciate everyone's interest!

Superchargers left port, so I'm about 10 days from getting them in. :)

If you follow a link provided above, it's a bit over $11k shipped.

I'm not sure how these can fit on both an FSI 4.2 from an R8 and an S4 BHF. Aren't there some pretty big differences, like the fuel system?

Is the R8 share the same block with RS4? McSuly using R8 block on his RS4? I believe R8 has longer intake runner.
