Looking for RS5 widebody suggestions

Dear Audizine Members,

I am a new guy here and rarely post anything before and very happy to be here say hi to all the members.

I have a RS5 and I am currently interested in adding widebody kits on my car but my budget is very tight now. Liberty walk a5 kits are very expensive to me, except that, I cannot find other widebody kit suitable for RS5 and custom made pieces might be more expensive . So I have an idea to adjust 2015 Mustang widebody kits to fit my RS5. I don't know if anybody have experience doing that, could anyone tell me if this solution feasible or not?

Nice! Front and rear? Happen to know the offsets?

Yes, all four have the same size and run 285 tires. The offset is about 20mm with 1 inch spacers.

Since you got the LW wing why don't you just grab their wide body kit? I believe I saw it once online.

Thank you sir! I think I only need the flare fenders but they can't be sold separately and the LBW full kit is about $8000 dollars. I don't have that much money so I am seeking some other solutions. I can get Mustang widebody kits for about $1000 but fitment definitely need to be adjusted. The problem is I have no idea if this is feasible for not.

Yeah heavy modification is needed most likely as the two body styles are significantly different. I don't think anyone here ever went down that path. You are definitely choosing to go down the path less traveled.

Very true! Do or not to do is a question. I am gonna borrow pieces from all kinds of other cars and put them together, this could be a new thread but have a lot of challenges. I would like to try and make my car unique.

Some modification is going to be required either way even with the LW kit if it was made for the A5 since the RS has different fenders.

You are right, the body line of rs5 and a5/s5 are different but that differences are very minor. Instead, mustang and rs5 might be total different lol

While looking at your pictures of your car just makes me cringe [I'm not judging I just don't like it but to each his own same thing with BK's car] I can see you want to make your car unique. How ever putting a body kit from one make car to another will wind up probably costing you more money then it would buying one already designed for your car or at least a similar car. Unless you are able to do the work your self. I wish you the best of luck.

(Edit - I am speaking of the pictures you posted. You seem like a nice enough guy but so far I don't see anything positive that could come from the approach (low budget, mustang mod) that would improve the lines of an RS5. )

I would make sure you add Gurney flaps if you go that route. You're going to need a way to control downforce and lift. Hate to do an endo.

As a pilot, the aerodynamic profile of this car is mind boggling. It literally punches air right in the face...

As an Audizine member, welcome! Again, like some have said I'm personally not a fan of body kits or mustangs, but a mustang body kit is definitely a no-no. The RS5 lines are gorgeous already, but to each their own. So enjoy your RS and maybe someday I'll see you in the friendly skies...

Not sure why all the tongue in cheek in this post, but kudos from me for doing what you like and not worrying about popular opinion. LW isn't my taste, but it's extremely popular for a reason. I'm probably just too old.

I like your car as is, looks like a fully upgraded real life version of a Forza RS5, you just need tow hooks and the large wing you mentioned. I think it would look better if the aero lip and sides were black or carbon fiber hydro, but that's just me again not being "with it" and too old.
