    Stupid technology question . . .

I have had my S7 for about a month and I'm just getting around to figuring things out on it - I bought it used (i.e. no dealer demo). How the hell do I charge a phone on this thing? It has some ridiculous connector cable that doesn't appear to be compatible with anything! I have an iPhone like many . . .

    Help!

An iPhone is a little ambiguous when dealing with connectors, maybe a model number would help? The facelift models are also a different interface so just telling us that you have an S7 is not enough. Adding relevant information to your signature may help your cause.

Assuming you have a pre-facelift S7, there should be an AMI socket (square, Audi propriety socket) in the lower compartment under the centre arm rest. It may have a rubber cover on it.

If you have an early S7, the same connector may be on the side wall of the glove box.

Your dealer can supply you with an AMI to iPod connector for about $50 l think.

If you have a facelift S7, then there are USB connectors in the lower compartment under the armrest.

Last resort is cigarette lighter charger.

The AMI connector sucks for charging your phone. Do yourself a favor and buy an Anker cigarette socket charger on Amazon. I've replaced all of my phone/tablet chargers with their products and they're great.

There is something about teaching the OP how to fish instead of giving him the fish going on here.

The AMI port will also allow you to stream music to the MMI from music on the iPhone though, and will allow you to navigate folders, artists, etc.
