RS7 grill for my A7 Nardo facelift

    Hi,

Just bought a 2015 Nardo competition edition and want to start some mods on it but I am a beginner and don't want to spoil a 80K car with poor quality material so I decide to ask this to some experts (you guys). When I bought the car last week, I tried to include during the deal the modification of the grill by a RS7 grill but the agent refused considering to renew front bumper and wings due to the smaller size of the RS7 grill.
So please anyone of you had a good link to share with me for a glossy black RS7 grill plug and play.

    Thanks

    Clement from France.

    Hello Clement,

I have just completed this work.

It's absolutely not plug and play.

You do not need new front wings. Not sure about bumper - what model A7 do you have?

    Hi JK,

First of all thanks for the follow up and for this excellent write up ! My car is an A7 facelift competition limited edition 2015 model. The write up is regarding an A6, do you think it is the same process for the A7?

    Hi Clement,

The write up is excellent, and generally works for the A/S7, however there are some differences:

    1. You don't need to remove the wheels or wheel liners in order to remove the bumper.
    2. The grill is modified in different places, however the method shown is applicable.

Its a lot of work, for me it was almost 6 hours from start to finish. I have started to write a guide, however it wont be ready until next week.

This is my S7 after modification:

    Good morning,

Definitely I will wait for your write up, translate it and check with a friend of mine who is working in a body shop.
Is Your grille a glossy black finish?

Again many thanks for the info and you have a very nice blue sepang S7, you know it was difficult to choose between Nardo and Sepang but the when I saw my A7 at the agent the choice was done!
Wish you a nice weekend JK
