    Eurocode sway bars setup

    Hi,

S6/S7 owners, what setup you are running with Eurocode sway bars, front and rear? Is the softer setup of eurocode harder than original?

As recommended by EC: soft up front, hard in rear. The difference in handling/body roll is significant (great mod!). Not exactly sure how you're defining 'harder', so not sure how to answer that.

I ran soft front, stiff rear. Used the bars and links...couldn't have been happier. I was in SoCal so I did not use the dust boots, If I was in an area with weather, I would have used the boots and packed them with grease.

Wondering Why Audi does not make sways like this in first place, do they really want their cars to have massive body roll?

I'm getting ready to install the EC sways and end links in a few weeks. I'm also doing the top and bottom diff mounts from EC as well and a Unitronic Stage 1+.

Does anyone have experience with the EC diff mounts? Do they make a noticeable difference in decreasing driveline slop? I did the 034 trans mount and I think it made a noticeable difference, mostly in S mode.

Also considering the Alu Kreuz as well. Feedback I've gotten so far is that the difference is negligible in terms of improved steering response. Any feedback on the AK?

I'm considering tracking the car and I'd like to set up the steering, handling, driveline stability, and power ideally. I may move to coilovers and Stage 2 down the road.

I think you should do stage 2 with pulley, it makes lot of difference to this car.
I'm also considering alu kreus and new-wider wheels, with spacers the car handles much worser, thinking of removing them.

Same setup as above (soft front, stiff rear). I don't have the end links, as they were out of stock when I did the suspension install (KW HAS + Eurocode sways).

    Love it!

I second the question on the diff mounts: noticeable? I also want to reinforce the notion that you have to get the Eurocode Sways...they make a huge difference in the agility and stability of the car. Don't hesitate.

So I'm installing now and I don't see what makes them stiffer vs softer I assume it's which hole on the sways that you use...also any advice on how to install the dust boots?

I could not get the rears on at all with the end links. Ended up cutting them at the sleeve and they worked great. The fronts were very easy to get on.

I used 2 long spoon handles going in the bottom out the sides then leveraged around the "ball" of the links and then it got around fairly easy

Thanks for sharing. When I first got started yesterday I thought the end links would never fit through the small hole in the rubber boots. Using your two spoons trick I was able to stretch the hole wide enough to get the job done.

Speculums are made in many sizes but spoons work and are readily available.
