Local dragstrips?

Anybody on here hit up any of the dragstrips in the area? And more importantly is anyone interested in going to an upcoming test and tune? I haven't been down a 1/4 mile in over a decade, but I really want to find out how quickly my baby hauler can move! I may even leave the car seat in and bike rack on the roof for kicks. It looks like Island Dragway is the closest to NYC.

I've been to island dragway and it's a pretty good spot to run the 1/4 mile. You can get lots of runs in because it's not as crowded as Englishtown.

I was actually thinking of going down the track again but i just purchased a home in Massapequa and it's taking up all my spare time and funds.

Post your times and experience, i was thinking of trading the S4 for an SQ5.

English town raceway is the most popular in the area. Speaking of etwon, who's going to the Euro fest tomorrow?

Thanks for the info guys. I'm going to see if i can make it out to Island (since it's closest) and will report back on what this 4,400 lbs SUV can do.
