i would stick to the oem size 255/30/20. you can maybe go just slightly thicker, but too much will throw off the speedometer. but you don't want to go lower than that the tire will be pretty thin and you'll have less protection for the wheels, and also it's going to get harsh and become a rough ride.

This is on 245/35/20 tires that came on the car when I got it. I plan to switch to 255/30 and have some stasis springs to drop it. IMHO 20s with oem size tires and lowering springs is very good looking setup. I can't wait to get my springs on.

Here is a little better angle. Also keep in mind my tires in these pics are bald as hell, LOL. Bald tires always make the gap look worse imo.

Do shocks with those springs, otherwise your stock ones will fail and you'll have to pay for labor again to fix it.

If you plan on getting 255/30/20 I highly recommend Hankook V12.

Thanks but I plan on running oem spec Audi R01's. I ran a set of pzero R01, on my B6 and they were great, while they were a summer only tire this time I am just gonna go with all seasons. I normally only run pirellis but the Audi R01 tires for 20s are from continential so I'm gonna give them a shot.

I am rocking the setup for one because the wheels came on my car and two they are the same size as stasis wheels and I'm trying to run the same setup because I think it looks good. If it doesn't work out I have some 19" BBS Chs et35 I can throw on. I thought I read somewhere the stasis setup runs 245's can anyone confirm this ????????

Aphrodites looks to poke out a bit further than mine cuz his are wider. I think mine are 20-x9 and i'm not sure what the offset is but his looks to have more offset than mine.

Only thing that's a clown is you for posting a lame response. Try having some class and sense when you respond to a thread. Audizine has enough Douchebags. For example.... that doesn't look good because of "list reason" but this does... "insert pic" and explain why you think it looks better. Instead of a lame ass response making you sound ignorant and immature. I doubt you could setup a car better than stasis. There's a lot more engineering behind stancing a car than throwing on a different style wheel and lowering the car.

I'm not a big fan of 20" to be honest. A few of these look damn decent, but I think they are a touch too large for the car. Here's some 19x8.5" Rotor Reps ET35, with 255/35/19 tires. No rubbing issues, but damn close.

Especially loving that blue slick! I wanted Aruba B8 to replace my Denim blue B6 but had to go with my 2nd choice ibis!, but blue will always be #1 to me.

19 and 20's both look good. But I agree that both look just a TAD too small and big but can both look clean when stanced good. Maybe the sweet spot is 19.5 LOL
