Had to have my car weighed the other day. Was pleasantly surprised with 3750 pounds with a half a tank of gas. No driver, no spare.

Pretty solid number for a b8. Makes me think that Audi didn't do enough to keep the rs5 weight down from the listed ~4100lb considering that most of the interior is a complete carry-over from the b8 and a completely new v8, sports exhaust, crown diff and torque vectoring gizmos,etc can't account for the other 400lbs!

Wow, seems odd that it's that light! Most B8 S4s weigh in around 3,900 lbs at minimum, and the V6 is not heavier than the V8. I'd expect the supercharger setup to add a few pounds as well.

Does your car have the sport differential?

I had to have it weighed for an autocross. So it was on Scca official scales, which I would guess are fairly accurate. I have 20# wheels which are a big part of the savings. The stoptech kit is lighter then stock, exhaust, flywheel, and that's really about it. Will probably go with race seats at some point which should save a good bit. Not sure exactly how much the stock seats are, but they can't be light. Tecnocraft seats are only 6.5#.
