need a new fender, help?!

thanks to some coward backing into my car and driving off, I am now in need of a new front drivers side fender. i have an 04 A6 4.2 with the widebody fenders. Is there a place to buy OEM?

Also, i have only been able to find these, does anyone have any experience with these aftermarket fenders? http://www.ebay.com/itm/151578071235...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Best to avoid aftermarket if possible, especially fiberglass replicas. Look for a used one with no damage, preferably the same color as your car ...

They are an Audi dealership in Oregon. I buy all my OEM parts through them, and have had fantastic service.

Recently I ordered clutch parts for my A6 sedan, and included a sunvisor bracket for my S6 wagon with the order ... they promptly sent an email to verify the color bracket I had ordered, as it didn't match the VIN of my A6 which I provided for the clutch parts ... that's attention to detail from a true parts department

Buml, plus question. What is the difference between a fender for the 4.2 and all the other models? Besides being about 250 bucks cheaper oem for a v6 fender, I want to know if it will fit. Thanks

I believe the V8 is aluminum vs. steel on the V6 ... the wheel arch flare is wider on the V8 and it's longer overall .... not interchangeable ...
