S4 exhast on RS4?

Will the S4 exhausts work on the RS4? I'm a cheap bastard and don't really feel like ponying up for downpipes - there are some much cheaper options for the RS4 - alternately I might just cut the stock flange and straight pipe the car...

Dude no! Lol if you want cheaper downpipes, just go to an exhaust shop and have them fab some up for you in no time. Done

Downpipes are different. Depending on the catback, it should work with modification. Specifically, the bumper cutouts are spaced wider on the RS vs. S4.

I can fab up my own, I was hoping to make use of something pre made.

Nah I'm trying not to hack up my stock exhaust - If I have to make something I'm gonna CNC some flanges and go 3" from the header back, no cats, no nothin ;P
