Unwanted Cruise Control Acceleration - APR Bug?

I was on the interstate a few minutes ago, in moderate pre-rush hour traffic. Suddenly, my car starts accelerating as if I had floored it. I looked down at the dash, and realized that cruise control had just engaged, which was weird, because my hands were nowhere near the CC stalk. I quickly braked, and the car stopped accelerating. Still, in the time it took me to figure out what had happened, my speed had gone from mid 70's to about 80.

Then I hit the CC stalk down a couple of times to see what it had been set at, because the last time I used CC (few days ago), I had it set at 74.

It had been set at 120??? Are you kidding me?

Things to note: 1) I got the APR stage 1 tune two weeks ago (and I love it). 2) Cruise was set on but disabled when this happened.

Has anyone ever heard of this sort of thing happening? Can anything APR does with the ECU affect the cruise control?

Little bugs with cars don't usually bother me, except they also usually don't cause your car to take off like a rocket. So this does concern me.

Never heard of that. I've had APR on my car for about 6 years and never once had a problem.

Never had that problem in 5 years of APR stage 2 ownership.
