Goodbye guys, it was a real treat being here. thanks for being such a helpful commnuity.

my audi was giving me to much grief and began to consume oil. didnt want to pour more money into it so i sold it when i had an opportunity.

Picked up a 2009 C63 AMG from my friend who was moving out of the country.

6.2L Naturally Aspirated V8

Performance Pack (Connecting rods, pistons, and crankshaft from the SLS)

Agency Power Headers, EuroTune ECU, Secondary cat delete.

approximately 540HP

this is my first RWD car. so far so good. traction control is staying on.

my favourite part is the exhaust. sounds absolutely brutal!!!

anyways thanks for everything guys, would love to get into a 2013 S5 but unfortunatley they are still out of my price bracket.

NICE! I always loved the C63's. I went to go take a "peek" at a Black 2010 C63 with 43k not long ago for giggles for a moddest $29,000.

It is always nice to have a 4 door vehicle as well. There are times i miss my Hummer H3, the big slug it was. Now i know the c63 not going to get good gas mileage as a 450hp V8 from the factory. I have owned V8's almost all my life. But i was reading online people were getting 185 miles per TANK in that year. Compare that to the 240-ish with a lot of city driving & sometimes getting the RPM's up in my 2010 S5 V8, holy shit lol. c63 also has a 1 gallon bigger tank too. Still a sexy, sexy car. And they sound amazing to boot!


+1 one of that silver as well, looks great.

Update us with how many miles you are getting per tank with your mods, i am really curious

Oh ok, perhaps those people had a ultra heavy foot haha. 185 didn't even sound right. They did mention 185 when the "reserve" kicked on, which I'm not sure how many miles are left when it does.

So about 45 less miles than my B8 S5 4.2, maybe a bit less since the c63 has a 1 gallon bigger tank. Still not a bad trade off for 100 extra HP & 100lbs or Torque give or take ;)

I used to hate silver mostly until I joined this forum lol. I had one silver car in my life which was my 2001 S4 B5 which was the most common color that year, 3/5 were silver.

But after seeing Mops cars dressed up right, RS5's in silver dressed up on here I seriously want a silver Audi next adventure when i move from my B8 S5.

Those c63's also another example also enjoy the B8 S4's in silver now. I have a new found love for silver "modern" cars.

Depends, there is a 2010 still for sale near me with only 49k for $29,000 on autotrader. I had to fight myself to not to try and talk myself into buying as a 2nd vehicle. This is without warranty, of course. I don't know if there are many major problems with the c63 in that pre face lift other than reading some head bolt problems. Of course same with Audi & the DSG, without warranty its a roll of the dice.

I know Benz parts can be expensive, even more than Audi. But it is such a sexy car if you want a 4 door.

Damn that is solid, $24,500 US with all those nice goodies it came with with only roughly 43k. That is a really nice car for the price and miles you paid. Makes the 2010 i seen with seem expensive when i thought it was a good deal

The 6.2L is one of the best sounding. They down sizes to a twin turbo 4 liter in the new C63 AMG. It's faster, but doesn't sound as good.
