Warranty about to expire, might be time to replace the car.

So, I absolutely love my allroad and was hoping to keep it for many years. But, at 46K the water pump is starting to leak and the AC Compressor has been intermittently squealing. What next?

Get those issues resolved under warranty, then you can purchase an extended warranty (or CPO) from Audi if you feel that the car might be unreliable. If you like it and want to keep it, keep it.

The water pump will be fixed, however the AC has been erratic and usually only when cold. With the warmer weather hopefully it will get used hard and show itself before 50k. The extended warranty sounds like the way to go if I want to keep the car. But really, an additional $4-5k for something that should be covered to begin with just makes me squeak a little.

I think I have one of the most problematic Audi A4 2009. I still got the warranty for peace of mind. To be honest I haven't been to the dealer almost a year now... Which is VERY unusualy for me lol
I don't feel like the warranty was a waste of money because I know if anything pops up. I can just take it in, give them 100$ deductible and it will be repaired.
