    Coilovers installation cost

    I was looking to install solo werks coilovers on my 2011 A4 b8 Quattro with no electronic suspension. I was quoted by a shop in Hudson valley NY 789.99 plus tax. What's a reasonable price for installation.

    $300-$450 from reputable shops when i asked.

    Repairs done: Engine removed to complete repair Piston rings replaced (stage 1 and stage 2 oil consumption fix) / Wheel bearing(s)/hub(s) replaced / Crankshaft pulley/balancer replaced / Timing chain tensioner update

    It all depends on the going labor rate in your area. I believe it is a 4-6 hour job from what I can remember. I did it with a friend of mine at his shop in 2-3 hours. He was working on the front while I was working on the rear so it was a lot faster.

    Mine was $460. Included laser alignment and 5 return visits (including a couple more alignments) to dial it in. I have adjustable height/damping.

    Solo Motorsports did mine in ATL for $225 w/ no alignment.. other shops quoted $400+. Took it for an alignment after at my preferred shop

    Good on you guys that you can get it that low. The cheapest I was able to get was $620 with $70 discount but alignment is additional $150. I didn't inquire with any Audi dealers. I saved though on my KW V2 when they ordered it. I got it around $400 cheaper comparing it with online order. Have to wait for 3 weeks for delivery.
