Running boards/Step bar for 2017 Q7

Hi all. Just recently got a 2017 Glacier White Metallic Q7 for the wife. We've primarily been a Japanese-car family. Wife had a Honda Pilot, Lexus GX, and now an Audi Q7. I've had a Lexus SC400, GS430, and now a Mitsubishi Evo X. Btw, I test drove an A7 and fell in love. That might be my next car once I get sick of the Evo.

We are new to the Audi family (this is our first Audi). I know that it's relatively new, so I was hoping if the experts here could shed some light on what step bars or running boards would fit on this model. I've search here and a few other forums, and even googled the search but everything comes up with 2016 and older. My wife is pretty small, so she was asking if a step bar/running board was available. Thanks ahead of time for any inputs.

I don't know what the facts are for North America, but here the oem bars have just become available. Although they currently aren't available if your car has AWS. on the aftermarket scene a few options are available. I'd suggest either buying them from a European audi dealer, or a site that deals with such regularly.

I talked with my local Audi dealer, He said there are no running boards available yet.

Thanks for the info guys. I figure that the model was still new for the U.S. market and there are not much options yet. i guess she'll have to make do for a bit.

I searched for 2017 Q7 runningboards/nerf bars on Google and I saw the Romik RAL running board. The part number is 62904419. It will fit on 2016+ models. Try to contact the manufacturer directly to confirm fitment.

I was trying to fit a set of Amp Research boards on my Q7 to no avail. I kept being told that it's not possible. I still think it is.

They are by far the nicest boards i have ever stepped on.

Some dealers just spout nonsense. It absolutely doable to fit running boards. I've been into Stoke Audi here in the UK and I've seen 2 demo's with them fitted.

And I've been told by two separate Master techs that the Romik boards fit the Q7 perfectly.
