ECS Tuning should have the boots/grease that you'll need for repair, or purchase used ones from a wrecked, early mileage A4/A5.

I've replaced a Axle Assembly (cv boot on it) on my cadillac dts I had years ago. Its not too difficult , it had a tear in it and had a good amount of grease coming out.

Yeah replacing the drive axles on an A5 is surprisingly easy, I had to replace both my front ones not too long ago. Just disconnect the upper control arms, take out the axle, new one in, little bit more involved that what I just described but that's basically it.
