    Forge DV vs. GFB

    How do the 2 stack up against each other? The Forge is a complete unit and the Go Fast Bits is just the top part right? Is the Forge worth the extra cost to have the whole BPV?

    I went from a forge DV spacer to a GFB DV+. I highly recommend the DV+. On throttle power is there immediately after shifting, and my too rich at idle code is now gone.

    That doesnt give any insight to the OP at all. THe DV+is good, im not sure a lot of people even own the Forge unit as its pretty pricey and knowing that the factory rev D is more than capable

    I own the forge DV and have had zero issue with it. I wanted a full proof design and the engineering/quality looked solid. Maybe overkill but so is a lot of the stuff that we do to our cars. I think the DV+ can throw a softcode too.

    I've run my Forge DV with open spacer since 2011. No issues. Not a single code.

    I've also been running the Forge for about 100k miles with no issues. I've rebuilt it twice, once with about 40k on it, the second time at 75k. I've also serviced it twice in between the rebuilds (clean and grease). I had the Forge spacer for about 20k miles with no issues as well, but didn't see the point of the noisemaker.

    I finally got around to install the DV+ and mother of..... . the difference is wow lol. Also not to mention it actually sounds real good. I have heard the forge blow off and it sounds like a fart lol. I cant stand that noise. The DV+ on the 2.0t B7 makes it sound like theres a real turbo in there not just some cheap blow off valve making fake noises

    +1 for the GFB dv+ with the stock actuator! A must have piece of kit for these engines.
