    Lower Control Arm Hitting Swaybar

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I just bought another B5 and its lowered on H&R springs.

When the car is sitting on the ground the lower control arm is hitting against the sway bar.

What would be causing this issue?

When the car is driving you can feel them rubbing together and the front is pretty loose when driving due to them binding.

The front sway bar links are installed correctly? If they are flipped to the front of the arm they will make contact under load.

Idk otherwise, I just went out to look at mine and I'm having trouble understanding how the sway bar and LCA could ever make contact.

I'll take a look to see if everything is correct. Last owner didn't mention doing control arms.

Well I shouldn't say he did it but he was aware of the issue. I'm happy it's corrected.
