    Ride Height

Yesterday a couple of friends and I spent the day installing H&R Street Performance coils on my 2011 A4. Right now I'm sitting at about 25 inches from ground to fender in the front. My wheel specs are 19x8.5 et 38 with 255/35/19 tires. I'm a little concerned about rubbing in the front. Anyone running a similar setup and have a preferred ride height? Any input that could help me prevent rubbing would be helpful.

    thanks

I have almost the same setup but with 245/35/19.

You'll rub on hard corners because of the 255s. If you roll your fenders, you shouldn't worry too much. I'm on coils at 25 1/4in with 19x8.5 wheels and 10mm spacer in the front so my offset now is 45.

I don't rub hardly at all.

My ground to fender is 25.5" lowered on ST coilovers. Wheel specs are 19" x 8.5", 35ET. Tires 255/35/19. no rubbing issues ever.

Running a 255/35/19 on an 8.5" rim with ET35, you should have no issues rubbing what so ever. My current AR sits on 19x8.5, ET35, H&R coils @ 25 1/4" front, 25 1/2" back. Even with 20mm spacers, I do not rub.

I'm at 26" all around and its low enough to look good, but still able to function on NY's shitty roads. The rear has rubbed a couple times on the bigger bumps (I'm on 19" rotors with 255's) so I have to play with it a little bit.

I appreciate everyone's responses. I didn't adjust the coils at all but I did have the fenders rolled slightly and now I have so much more clearance. Im at 25 in the front and 25.25 in the rear. I tested it on some of the windy and bumpy roads around me and no rubbing anywhere. I'm going to drive it around like this for now and see how it goes. In the future I may go up to 26" but right now i have no issues
