    Airbag issue, really need help

    Hello, I have a Audi A4 1.8T 2000 gas mod.

The problem i am getting With my Audi, is that the airbag lamp comes on and goes away after the car heats up. (In about 5 minutes til its gone)

Detailed Description of the problem: When im off to work in the mornings, i usually go in to my car and start it as everybody else would do.
After it starts the airbag lamp doesent go away. After i drive my car for a while, like 5 minutes the lamp eventually turns off. This is because the engine heats up and it goes away. If i would turn the car off when its hot and turn it back on, the lamp goes away. So this problem only occures when the car is Cold.

    Troubleshooting i have been doing:

I have a VCDS ODBII skanner. I scanned the car and got up the fault code: 17931/P1523/005411 - Crash Signal from Airbag Controller: Implausible Signal.
This problem comes up on the engine section of the scan. So i searched a litle on net and found that the ECU might have a bad Connection With the aribag Controller so i took out the ECU and cleaned the Connections and sprayed some Electric spray in to all the Connection from the ECU.

After i did so, the problem seemed to go away faster and didnt need to wait for the engine to heat up, but after a day of driving the problem is back as just as it were.
Now its back to waiting until the car is hot again before the lamp goes away. The differences from before i did troubleshooting and not, its that the fault code doesent show up anymore on de VCDS ODBII scan anymore. I will do another one scan today do Ensure myself that it doesent show anymore. I dont understand the problem anymore because of there arent any fault codes and the airbag lamp still haunts me

It bothers me because it might scare of people that might want to buy my car, gets a bad feeling about it because of this problem. I would really appriciat for any help.

Your airbag control module is likely bad.
