Hey guys, so I'll be using this spot to keep track of my build but first some background.

Past cars (well the ones that matter)

    VR swapped mk3.5 Cabrio
    FBO bagged mk6 GTI
    K04 a3
    BT MK6 Golf R
    Stage 2 B8S4

Now, I traded my S4 in for a TT-RS and a b5 S4. I've since sold the b5, but I purchased my TT-RS with 27k on the odometer. Car is a 2012, every option including these sweet hydrodipped emblems ()

    Here's the fun

@ 29k, the rear diff eats itself requiring replacement.
@ 31k, motor drops an intake valve requiring replacement (before anyone asks no I did not overrev it, and was not beating on it).

So, since its my extended warranty is covering it, and the engine is coming out, figured why not go big again. My Golf R had a JDL turbo set up with a Precision 5858, extremely fun, and I missed that feeling after trading it in for the s4. So, now the fun starts. I'll post here as the parts arrive. Will be utilizing the kit from a good guy most of u may know, Hank at Iroz Motorsports, building the car at AzEuros here in AZ.

    Current Mod List:
Full APR Exhaust (will be for sale soon if anyone is interested)
    034 Carbon Intake
    United Motorsports Stage 2 tune
    P3cars gauge
    Osir O-Smear
    LED trunk light

    As of 4/15/16

    En Route:

    Motor coming from Germany
    Sachs Performance Clutch
    Magnetic Drain Plug
    Black Washer Reservoir Cap
    ARP Main Studs
    ARP Head Bolts
    TTRS Head Gasket from Iroz
    Coated Rod Bearings

    Received Awaiting Install:

    HR Rear Swaybar
    034 Shifter Bracket Bushings
    42DD Shifter bushings
    MK4 STS Metal Shifter Bracket

Will update as frequent as possible.

News as of yesterday is motor has arrived and they have have removed the original. In performing the swap, the motor came with a lot of parts not installed, so the dealer is swapping over the parts and a few misc gaskets and fittings needed to be ordered. Clutch was dropped off and installed, and motor should hopefully be buttoned up Tues. Still waiting on the arrival of the last order from Iroz, and Guam coming up so I'll post pics before I take off for a few weeks.

    status update...

get a call the day before leaving on tdy that they were going to be keeping the car longer. The noise they heard was concerning enough to require inspection from someone higher up. After running samples of the engine fluids, they have decided to order another motor. So, it has been ordered and hopefully it will arrive and be installed before I get back. :banghead:
Good news though, the clutch has been installed and the techs state they like how it feels and are excited to see the build. Large thanks to the professionalism of the guys at Audi North Scottsdale.

pics of the car with engine change 1.
