Anyway to program exhaust valves closed on start up?

I spent too much time explaining to my neighbors that my car is normal (loudness) and actually apologizing for the loud start ups.
I usually drive thru my neighborhood in comfort mode but I'm wondering if there is a way to start up in comfort mode? My wife even chimed in and said my car is too loud. .

It's your warm up catalyst cycle that's the problem as well. No way to get around that. sometimes maybe start in neutral with the ebrake on and shift immediately to gear brings down revs (proof, father here..you learn quiet tactics. I roll my car down the driveway completely off before starting it sometimes to not wake em

Not much you can do about cold start up. One of my neighbors commented on how loud mine was too. Same guy who has a loud aftermarket exhaust on his Toyota Tundra and let's his piped Harley idle for about 5 minutes every time he starts it. He also finds it necessary to constantly rev his Harley as he drives through the neighborhood.

Oh well, no big deal in the great scheme of things; it's not Afghanistan...first world problems.

Did they forget to put the stuffing in your Akrapovic exhaust Gonzoe, yours was the first reported loud system and now you're keeping the neighbours awake. You didn't drive through Ecuador at the weekend did you?

Get the capristo valve control kit, then you will have full control of the flaps.... Not much else you can do

Ha ha.. Funny thing is, I picked up my son who was away this weekend and he asked me if I changed something. He said it seemed much louder. He loves it and so do I .

I actually reached out Akrapovic to see if they have the Sound kit for the RS5. It's the equivalent of the Valve Control kit. We'll see what they say.

The one dynamic that changed is the weather has gotten better and windows are now opened.
