So I am taking my car to the dealer tomorrow for an oil change and brake fluid change. As such I put my car into stock mode. I always tell them not to scan the ECU, but I did this anyway. So as I am firing up my APR mobile, I get a message for two fault codes. No issues with the car, and no check engine light. When I go to see what the fault codes actually are however, it says there are none. So I disconnect my APR dongle and hook up my Blu Driver Scan tool. Also, no faults found. I run a clear code with my Blu Driver and I hook up the APR again, and as expected, I have no faults found.
Any idea what's going on? Any else get an occasional code with the APR 1.1? I am assuming it is a random misfire or something. Car is at 29000 miles and I have done a lot of short trip driving in it, so new spark plugs may be in order.
Are people staying with stock plugs or something else?
Thoughts on all this?
