    Wheel Coating

I'm about to do my annual clay, wax, seal, glass coating on my S4 and wanted to get the wheels coated as well. I will be using Myabi Coat with Overcoat on the body panels.

With the Titanium package wheels (2014) would that coating be ok or should I buy a wheel specific type?

    Thanks!

from my experiences with coating wheels, it really comes down to the pads and how often you end up cleaning the wheels themselves
    definately helps reduce cleaning time,

however, because brake dust is so corrosive(depending on pad compound), the coatings usually never hold up or last long,

if you let the brake dust cake on for a few weeks or forget to wash the wheels and have a crappy detailing regimen , the coating would be a waste of money

however, if you are literally wiping down the wheels every 3 days and washing the entire car weekly , it is well worth it

Just spring for a ceramic coating and forget about all of that crap. Makes it so much easier to keep clean.

Sadly I live in the High Desert of CA and the car doesn't leave the garage much so brake dust honestly wouldn't be a problem. I guess I was just trying to figure out what people did especially with the Ti wheels and the material of them.

I religiously wash the car with the w2 bucket method and just like to always have a coating on it just in case. Hell, the car has never seen rain!

I'm a fan of CarPro DLUX on wheels. Or you can use HyrdO2 which is easy to use and works well.

Here's DLUX on some cars I've done
