As sad as it is, I imagine there are a number of people thinking that. Two thoughts-

First, I think he's been taking payments at the VAG Autowerks account as he'd partnered with some others. Not sure the specifics on how they allocated funds or what not, but there may be a possibility to get tuned by someone else there. I don't recall but Blake Beadle is another tuner and I think he may(?) be on board with them.

Second, PayPal has a 180 day (6-month) dispute window that for most people should be able to utilize if necessary. Not really sure who else to turn to for tuning

I am shocked and in disbelieve!
A friend that I never met in person, yet spent countless hours and emails with him.
We first 'met' when I was struggling pushing my AEB beyond the 'normal' setups. He helped me via posts and message for an hour. It was almost midnight when he typed: "Do you have a phone" and called me. For the next hour he walked me over the phone through boot mode and tune.
Since then he has tuned all cars in the KraftwerkTurbo network.
01 Allroad Tiptronic, TCU tune, mild stg 3 (350 HP) tune (stock injectors) KraftwerkTurbo TM1. Lower, Wider. Custom tip vent pod with Podi
02 Allroad 6 spd, Kraftwerk Turbo TM6, 750cc, 3" MAF, piggy, FMIC, CM stg 5 (hate). 30 psi at 3600 rpm. Needs stronger rods (coming).

Well it's tough because I don't want to put salt on a would and also don't trust many people to tune my car. Daz and jason@amd were the only ones.

I think I might just talk to Jason and re-evaluate.

Hope I'm not coming off as a heartless bastard. Daz was a great tuner, and one of the most helpful people in the community. Rip

I just hope he's in puffy's basement drinking Hennessy with tupac

This is sad. It's crazy that someone can die of pneumonia in America in 2016, wtf. RIP Daz.

It seemed like he never slept, he would respond to emails at all hours of the day.
Lack of rest can take a toll on your immune system :(

RIP homie, you will be missed.
