I saw that PJb5 (naudlee) posted a pic about daz on instagram stating that he has passed away? Does anyone have some insight on this as to wether it is true or not? If so, may one of the greatest assets to the b5 community rest in peace.

Yeah. I received an email from him 3:30 AM eastern time on the 14th (not sure where he's located). I hope nothing has happened either, but with everything blowing up its kind of hard to deny.

I still can't believe it...

It says a lot about him that most of us have the same story about him. He helped us with our stupid questions, walked us through wiring up our widebands, sold us parts at cost, etc. In fact, he recently sent me a SCG-1 payed for out of his own pocket because Innovate messed up the group buy even though it wasn't his fault. When I ordered my K24's, he didn't think the oil lines were necessary, so he didn't charge me for them. They were sent with the kit anyway so he suggested that he would cover half the cost (I payed the full amount anyway simply because he was generous enough to offer to pay half). Not many people around here can be trusted like he was.

This will prove to be a big loss for the community.

Daz was a truly one of a kind guy. Anytime he helped me with something he refused payment, and just asked that I pay it forward, thats the kind of great guy he was.

In his honor I hope we all do a little bit of "paying it forward" this month.

I was exchanging emails with him on the night of the 14th, late into the early morning of the 15th.. The last email he sent me was on the 15th at 2:17am.. But the post said he died April 14th..

Regardless, I'm really bummed if this is true, becuase I was just starting to get to work with him and get to know the guy. He had already helped me more than I could've imagined.
