I have a really high quality ECS tuning / schwaben Full timing chain kit.

    I paid 160 shipped. I'll ship it for $100.00

I also have two mechanical adjuster (sprocket side ) with 150k. It comes with a new spring, gaskets , and plastic bottom piece that I did not use.

What's the difference between the ECS timing kit and the one that JHM sells? With the JHM being 350 to purchase and the ECS one brand new at 160, seems like there might be a difference between the two?

JHM is Audi brand, the other is generic, i dont think it really matters unless you do a lot of B6/B7 t/c service

I just used a flat bar in place of that "L" shaped one. And I was planning on scanning my CAM tool so that anyone with access to a 3D Printer could just knock one out.

i think he means the plastic wedge that you will need to hold the adjusters out/in place while setting the timing, this "kit" does not appear to have them
