A7 bitdi "competition edition" nardo grey

Hi,

Just bought my new car...on my way to order a Nardo A6 avant!
In fact, the agent had no A6 bitdi for test drive and told me he had a BiTdi A7 used so took the decision to try it.
After few seconds the magic happened...


It's a BiTdi 326+20hp competition limited edition.
-Nardo exclusive color
-S seats
-8000km
With a loonnnnnng option list. The car was the company car of the dpt manager of North France district. Had to wait few days to get all the paperwork and the...Keys.

Planning to do some mods.
- new RS6 21" glossy black with Michelin Pilot super sport (the existing ones will be kept with winter tires)
- RS7 glossy black front grill
- flat bottom steering wheel
- glossy black Audi logo
A lot of glossy black but feel this will be look nice with the Nardo.

2017 will have competition edition. No diesels until the diesel emissions issues are corrected...

This bitdi is so far the best diesel engine I never used and the sound is similar to a V8.
0-60 mph= 5.1s as per the specs

Really don't know. My car was registered on September 2016. The S seats are not standard but an option, as per the salesman this is a limited edition for the 25y of the TDI.
Competition Edition are coming with exclusive colors, blue sepang, red misona, Nardo grey, white, black and silver. Regarding the engine, competition edition are coming with 26hp extra but only available after 3000rpm so it is a BiTdi 346hp.

Looking to buy RS7 grill. During the negotiation with the salesman I tried to include this mod but he refused cause it is required to change the front bumper and front wings.
Anybody had info about this mod and if yes can you please give me a link with a very high quality ones. Really looking forward to buy high quality black glossy finish.

You can get the Rs7 grill from ebay, Im surprised that this modification needs new bumper and wings also.

The S7 is calling my name but I'd want the Glacier White/nougat brown color combo I had which is unavailable. According to my local dealer I could go S7 with the audi exclusive interior and get cedar brown but that would cost me upwards of 4k. Now I'm thinking I'd love to go Nardo gray with one of the brown interior. Might even be able to save myself a few grand going competition nardo gray with the audi exclusive as opposed to the S7. This is all assuming we even get a Nardo gray option here in the States.

Funny enough I've never seen Nardo in person but have seen Suzuka. I was a big fan. I've got some decisions to make. I just want to order asap. Assuming I go exclusive anything I'm probably looking at an extra 2 months of wait time which is no fun.

When I went to the dealer it was for purchase an A6 avant bitdi Nardo. The dealer haven't got any A6 bitdi for the test drive so he proposed me to try the bitdi with an used car...A7 competition edition!
During the deal we also discussed about the A6 avant who is also coming with the competition edition package he told me the waiting time is approximately 5 months. But anyway the decision was already taken...A7 ! Ahahaha

No TDI but 3.0 TSFI with a 7hp bump to a total of 340 HP.

In my opinion the bitdi engine is amazing...
- 6.5 l / 100 km
-0-60mph=5.1s
-326hp+20hp with the competition edition
-V8 sound
If you have good diesel quality such as the one we have in Europe go for it! By the way if you want an engine upgrade easy can get 400hp at stage 1...but this mod will be done after warranty!

Sadly enough I never even got to the point of researching mods for my 16' Prestige. Owned it for a total of 4 months before it was totaled out. Hope this time around its different. I'd love to be hitting 0-60 in under 5s

I hope to hit under 5s...but it will be after 2.5 years ! If you do any works on the engine in Europe, the warranty is gone. In Switzerland they can upgrade but with only ABT who is recognised as an official agent. So for the moment it will stay at 5.1s! More than enough for me

You do not need to change the wings or the bumper in order to fit the RS7 grill. You do however need to modify the RS grill to fit the A/S7.

I'm going to do this mod in the next week or so. - still waiting for parts to be delivered.

My car is under warranty and I have stage 1 Ecu chip, until now there has not been any problems, I just told to the dealer I have the tune and do not make any engine software upgrades.

Lovely car. I was looking for a Bitdi, but very few are sold in SA. It is a sleeper.
In SA if you mod your car you loose your Warranty and your 5 year maintenance plan.

Hi,

If you can find a BiTdi go for it...it is very quiet for a diesel engine and when you pass 3000rpm it is a beast...
