Hello, I am having problems with an overheating issue on my Audi the past couple months it was doing alright I'm thinking because of the colder weather. Today was bad though I was driving from Fargo, and there was alot of wind, obviously. the gauge went passed the halfway mark and then maintained temperature at the 5/8 spot. I got worried so I slowed down and that seemed to help but it sat in between the 1/2 and the 5/8. I replaced the thermostat, the head gasket, the cylinder head, the pvc system. I had replaced those parts back in the fall so i never really noticed it until it had to fight with the wind in the warmer weather. everything else seems to be working fine to my knowledge the a/c works the heater works. i opened the coolant reservoir to see if the waterpump was bad but i got pressure there. I don't want to keep driving it knowing that this will happen again and maybe crack another cylinder head.

What year car? B6 has two sensors, while the B5 lower one is only an auxiliary fan switch. Which brings up, do you know if your auxiliary fan kicks on when it needs?
I hate it when my car acts like a little bitch, treating me like a bitch
