A5 ModB CF Rear Valence Fitment

Hey guys,

So I've always wanted to have the AWE Touring quad exhaust on my A5. As a result, I've been looking through Ebay for S5 rear bumpers. However... Someone informed me that there may be another way:

Now this could save me some serious time and money. I've really always hated the idea of having to buy a whole new bumper just to get the valence I want. Plus, I really can't tell the difference between the S5 and A5 rear bumpers (Aside from the valence of course) anyway. But, there is no way in hell I'm going to put some piece of crap aftermarket part that fits like crap on my car. I've always ordered everything OEM so far, simply for the fact that I know it will fit.

So, has anyone installed this on their A5? Know someone who has installed it? Did you have to take it to a body shop? What other work did they have to do? Are you happy with the purchase overall? Does it fit with AWE Touring quad exhaust?

Lot of questions I know, but I'll take any info anyone can give me. Very much appreciate it.

I was able to get his opinion. I just didn't know if anyone else had tried it.

Kinda sounds like I'll still be shopping for an S5 bumper...

What was his opinion? Im thinking of doing the same too. My thought now is to get a new s line bumper with quad valance.. if this way is better why not.

iv seen a few users with it, and honestly, I don't think its THAT bad. It helps to have a darker colored car though to hide any imperfections

Yeah... silver definitely isn't going to hide much. I think for now I'll continue looking at S5 bumpers, but if that ends up being more costly than I expected I may give the ModB a shot.

We all know the s5 rear is going to b the most costly lol

I would get this over the mod bargains because i hate the oem style diffuser. This at least looks like the s with the lip




I believe someone here did get it and they said fitment was "ok" at best but again i didnt think it looked horrible at all

I dont hate this, but I'm partial to duals not quads.. Side note @BK did you see that your diffuser on ECS is now 419.00..

I like duals on the a5 without an s trunk. quads needs a more aggressive trunk lip imo

and LOL. yea I saw. that's how much my diffuser really cost, but I snagged it on close out :D!

I have that diffuser, and i installed it myself. Fitment is good once it is installed, but I had a really hard time getting the tabs to go into the bumper, and had to sand them down a little bit. I am not very knowledgeable or experienced with putting on body panels/bumpers/etc, so it ended up being a pain in the ass. Looks great though!

the mod bargains diffuser? 100% would not fit an s5. its for pre fl non s line 5 only

If u want CF, u need to get deval, or one of xenon uk replicas
