How to remove the plastic lug covers

Got my ECS spacers and silicone intake hose but not sure how you take off the plastic lug covers? Also is there a safe spot to jack up the car? I will pull the manual but thought I would post as well if there was a shortcut or trick to either.

Assuming you're using a floor jack, you may want to do some searching on the forum regarding the use of a jack pad (or hockey puck). Just my 2 cents.

I've used my floor jack on those points and many other in here have too with zero issues. Been doing it for 6 years now.

That's cool. I still think it's worth it for a guy asking about where to jack his car up from to search on this forum about jack pads since the most hits for that search are directly related to that question. But hey, I don't care either way.

Call it lazy brother or shit for that matter there was a reason-pucks! Had a Vette too that needed pucks to lift it. Don't like the question or thread don't respond-easy.

Yes you a jack pad or hockey puck. Didn't realize the A4 used pinch welds and I died a little on the inside when I heard them crack a bit the first time I jacked my car up. Jack pad all the time ever since.
