Rs5 is gone. On to a 16 TTS. Great little car. So much more tech in this car. Tune and airbox on deck.
Some of you I have great respect for. James RS5 and Gonzoe jump out at me. You both are very informed and a pleasure to have dealt with. Others are uninformed and can't believe that they really don't know what their talking about. You know who you are.
I will enjoy this car and move on.
I will probably be on the TT or S3 part of this forum.
It took me about a week to really understand the power train in my new car. It is a marvel.

I just bought another Audi myself, its amazing the difference in tech 3 years can make!
At the moment I am keeping my 2013 as well and may do the RS5 brake upgrade...

Yes you are Mops. I just can't justify a set of wheels right now. I will say this car drives a lot different then b8 chassis. Very light car. Still not Honda cheap inside as far as road noise. Different power delivery. Suspension....lower for looks. Not for handling. Car is on rails with Audi magnetic ride. Does not feel like a 4 cylinder. A tune in this car. I'm not scared of it. I'm waiting. new dash board is trying. You need to get used to it. The car to me is bigger than a Slk or a z4. It's like the old g37. Only richer and faster.

Best of luck w/ the new ride, the new property & new mods. Bummer I couldn't scoop up a few of your RS5 mods B 4 they were sold but I am sure that others will come along. Post some pic's when U get a chance, you have pretty good taste regarding mods, I'd like to see what you've done w/ the TTS.

That's a very nice looking TTS, agree w/ the red caliper comments, what's 1st on your mod list ? I remember a video by Matt Farrah from smoking tire w/ an APR mod TTRS(?) w/ ~ 600 hp, crazy output. Similar plans?

I remember when I was debating between my RS5 and a TT RS - back when I was still in "save the manuals" mode - I was discussing my dilemma with my father. On the one hand the RS5 has ascreaming V8 and timeless beautiful looks, but it only came with the DCT. On the other hand the TTRS came only with a 6 speed and was as fast as an R8.

My dads advice? "The TT is gay"

A little more homophobia than opinion, but I think it helped me make the right decision.

My ex-wife had a TT. Drove it until she finally got tired of the maual transmission and wearing heels and we swapped cars. I sold it 3 months later because it felt too much like a beetle... but if you like"peppey" you got it nailed.

TTs have always been surprisingly roomy.

Since its designed as a 2+2, you can pretty much move the drivers seat back just as far as a A/S/RS5. The difference between a TTS and say a Cayman in terms of leg room is astounding.

I share the sentiments on the TT though, espcially in comparison to an RS.

I saw a new TT-S in the showroom and I must say it is a very nice looking car. Def looks less feminine thn it used to and also just more modern. My mom has a last gen vert and will likely be getting a last gen TT-S this coming year because she expects to see more come in for trades on the new body.

Nice jump OP.

I made the jump from a '12 TTRS to my RS5 and still kind of miss the TTRS from time to time. Its crazy to think that the TT weighs nearly 1,000lbs less, but when you drive the two back to back you can really feel the weight. The TTRS was a fun car to toss around and move through the city. But at higher speeds and moving on the freeway I would take the RS5.

I am waiting for the next gen TTRS, I already have a fast 2.0t 4 banger. The tech is amazing on the new TT, and it looks much more aggressive than the older gens.
