So I'm getting ready to head home for the summer and the plan is to fab up my own single turbo. I'll be tacking everything together and then having a professional weld it together (I'm a grinder not a welder). My question for you fab guys is where do you source your stainless at? I plan on using 304. Any feedback would be awesome on this as its my first serious fab job. I've built my own exhaust and stuff but that's not as difficult.

I've always used Mandrelbends.com, you can order from a selection of diameters, bend radii, and bend amount. They always shipped fast and have never messed up an order. They've also got 321 Stainless which I'd recommend for manifolds if budget allows.

I was debating on using 2.8 manifolds or making my own, can't decide if all that time is really worth it.

I bought the blank headers. They just bolt on the block and you weld your pipe on however you see fit. If I had to do it again I would go 2.8 manifolds. Just my 2 cents. And when you go single you will only need one o2 and a wideband. I put both o2's not knowing it's not needed. But good luck. It's worth the work. I'm living my holset on there.
