YES I DID A SEARCH! PLENTY OF THEM! couldnt find anything. I have a boost leak from the manifold gaskets, and I want to know how hard it is to do, and how to do it. I can't seem to find a DIY anywhere!

Look up DIY's for the Aux coolant pump. Most of them instruct to remove (or at least loosen) the intake manifold, so you can just follow it up until you get that far.

I know there is definitely a DIY in the AudiWorld Tech Articles.

Well I am new to these cars so I wouldn't have known to search that, and i've been busy with a lot of stuff from school to selling my body parts to pay for service on this girl!

Anyways, i've gotten down to doing the injector o-rings, but could not for the life of me get the fuel rail to come off, felt like I was gonna break something. If I can get down to the fuel rail and disconnecting everything, do you guys think that doing the gaskets should be much harder for me? My shop is just being stupid and does not believe me that it leaks right there.

Boost leak tested it, and accidentally dribbled some water down there when i was thinking it was a hose, and started bubbling. I have a video of it as well

Also do I need to put down sealant like they do with the valve cover gaskets?

OEM gasket for sure. But I still like to use suretac. It helps hold in place to. My 2 cents

Thanks guys! When I bought the car I came with two brand new sealed Victor Reinz gaskets. Should those be good?

One thing to be wary of, When replacing the intake manifold bolts, BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO CROSSTHREAD THEM! You do not want to have to drill on the head like I had to to retap the holes.
